Paris
Paris is the classic weekend from London, a little over two hours by Eurostar. It has more palace hotels than any other city: the Ritz Paris on Place Vendôme, Hôtel de Crillon on Place de la Concorde, Le Bristol on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, and Four Seasons Hotel George V by the Champs-Élysées, where our Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits apply. Venice, Florence and Milan
Italy’s cities reward a long weekend or a week moving between them by fast train. Tokyo, Kyoto, Hong Kong and Seoul
Asia’s cities make the best longer city breaks. In Tokyo we book Aman Tokyo in Otemachi, Janu Tokyo in Azabudai Hills, Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo and The Peninsula Tokyo, then Aman Kyoto for the temples and gardens. Marrakech, Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Marrakech is under four hours from London and makes a warm weekend through the winter, with the souks and gardens of the medina close to Royal Mansour, and Amanjena and Four Seasons Resort Marrakech a little further out. Dubai and Abu Dhabi suit a few days of sun and city in the cooler months, at One&Only One Za’abeel, Burj Al Arab and Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.

How Long to Stay
Two or three nights suits Paris, London, Amsterdam or Venice. Allow four to five for New York, and a week or more for Tokyo and Kyoto, where the flight and time difference need a day or two of the trip. Two cities by train, such as Venice and Florence or Paris and London, work well in five nights.
Getting There
Most European cities are two to three hours’ flight from London, and Paris and Brussels are a little over two hours by Eurostar. We arrange private cars at both ends, fast-track at the airport where it is available, and our private jet team can fly you direct for the shortest door-to-door time.
When to Go
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for most European cities, with mild weather and the main art fairs, fashion weeks and opera seasons. December brings Christmas markets and festive hotels. Book early for these weeks: the best rooms in the best hotels go first.
