International and Norwegian designers such as Antonio Citterio, Bruno Rainaldi, Tom Dixon, Anne Haavind and StokkeAustad are behind the furniture and decor. The hotel’s own art curator has hand-picked art for every single room and suite from the THIEF ART collection.

DELUXE ROOM
The deluxe rooms at THE THIEF are spacious, airy with the best view. THE BRIT SUITE
The suite is a celebration of British design, art and culture, inspired by the swinging sixties; a time in which the retro glam of London’s Carnaby Steet was all the rage. Anglophiles from all over the world will get an experience like no other.

THE BROOM SUITE
Lee Broom, one of England’s most talented designers, and Karina Holmen of ESKE Interior Design have joined forces to create the unique” THE BROOM SUITE”, bringing the most impressive interior design to Tjuvholmen in a celebration of British design, art and culture. The room feature private living room, separate bedroom and two large bathrooms.

THE THIEF SUITE
The Suite is perfect for all occasions. The Thief Suite has handpicked artwork, furnishings from world-renowned designers and is equipped with the latest technology. The suite is located on the 8th floor featured with balconies facing towards the Oslo Fjord and the canals of Tjuvholmen.

THE APPARATJIK SUITE
Apparatjik, a collective of international artists and musicians, has styled THE THIEF’s Apparatjik suite in partnership with interior designer Karina Holmen. Welcome to a little corner of ‘Apparatjik world’ with disco-ball textiles, pixel-patterned blankets, a roof-mounted projector showing Apparatjik’s video art and disco balls in the bathroom and lounge. The suite is also decorated with eights prints signed by the super-group.

THE OSLO SUITE
The penthouse suite at THE THIEF takes its name from Sir Peter Blake’s unique art project “The Oslo Suite”. The works are inspired by Norwegian landmarks. The Oslo Suite also gives the impression of being on the roof of Oslo inside – almost out on the fjord – with spectacular views from the windows which stretch the length of the facade. The spacious bathroom in Vittorio and Polaris marble has a wonderful spa-like feeling. Curved alcove with rainforest shower, large bathtub and touches of luxury. The Oslo Suite offers a different, personal hotel experience.

DINING
THIEF FOODBAR has expanded to become the heart and soul of the hotel. Not only is the restaurant revamped into a relaxed and slightly industrial feel with a warmer, deeper musical atmosphere. But the menu has also been upgraded to a global experience with a Scandinavian twist. Be prepared for sizzling snacks and hearty comfort foods. Hot dogs and burgers on brioche bread. Homemade North-mex tortillas, seasonal fish and meats and pre-batched classic cocktails by the bottle.

FRU K’s pride is the contrast between Nordic food tradition and modern cooking. All dishes are presented med aesthetic and creativity where the best seasonal ingredients are being used. When visiting FRU K guests will experience new variations of familiar dishes and get new culinary acquaintances in harmonic surroundings.

THIEF SPA has stolen the best ideas from spa cultures all over the world and brought them home. The rituals from Turkish Hamams, Moroccan Rhassouls and German Aufgusse are recreated with an intimate ambience inspired by the natural landscape of Norway – the shale and marshland, the sea and the special Nordic light.
