Ideally situated in the Carré d’Or, within walking distance of the Casino, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The sumptuous Belle Epoque property was built in 1886. It was fully renovated in 2004 by famous French designer Jacques Garcia, who transformed it into a palace of 126 rooms and suites with a Mediterranean charm in keeping with its era, combining glamour, sophistication and sensoriality.

Jacques Garcia the “magician of atmospheres” instilled the Spirit that reigns within these walls. Jacques Garcia adapted his “Signature Designs” style within the property, evoking warmth and attitude to create a luxurious, Mediterranean interior. Colours have taken on silky melting velvety nuances, caressed by soft and subtle lighting. It is a Riviera atmosphere that reigns here, a dreamy reflection of a certain image of the Côte d’Azur, the fragrance of vacationing and the sumptuousness of palaces. The Metropole Monte-Carlo offers 126 rooms including 64 suites, 4 restaurants by Joël Robuchon, 1 outdoor sea-water pool that is covered during winter time, 1 Spa Metropole By Givenchy, 1 fitness centre, 1 beauty salon, 1 children’s club (July and August.)

For families to experience exclusive comfort, some rooms and suites can be connected. Parents and children will have their own space while being close to each other. The size of the rooms varies between 25 and 240 m2. Among the 10 accommodation options, guests may choose from:

The Junior Suites Deluxe. With a surface area of 40 and 50 m2, these suites on the upper floors offer a beautiful view of Monte-Carlo. The large marble and mahogany bathroom features a massaging shower, separate bathtub and double sinks. The suite has a bedroom and a separated living room.

The Deluxe Suites. Within its 70 m2 the Deluxe Suites have the same features as the Junior Suite Deluxe but also offer an office space and a large dressing room.

The Suite Carré d’Or.

On the top floor of the hotel, it is rather like a royal crown adding a final majestic touch to the Metropole. In its 240 m2, the Suite and its terrace demonstrates exemplary balance between exquisite taste and refinement. Upon arrival, you will receive a personalized check-in. A butler will help you settle down, unpack your suitcases and wrap them up for you when you leave. One’s first striking impression is the extraordinary 180° view of Monte-Carlo and its golden square with its “Belle Epoque” Casino, its gardens and the sea to infinity.

Just as ravishing, the haute-couture chic of the suite with its honey-coloured parquet floors, Louis XVI furniture, bookcase with an enticing collection of original works. A prominent master bedroom opens out to a dressing-room with a vanity cupboard and bathroom, featuring a tub, massage jet shower and Terre d’Hermès products. For even more privacy, you can book the entire 7th floor.

DINING
More than just a hotel, the Metropole has become a true reference in gastronomy. The 4 restaurants are all orchestrated by the world’s most starred chef, Joël Robuchon, offer a unique and varied culinary experience for the discerning palate.

At the Restaurant Joël Robuchon (2 Michelin stars), all the know-how of this great chef is expressed through an elaborate menu, with Mediterranean flavours. The open kitchen with Teppanyaki (cooking on hot plate) allows privileged contact between the guests and the chefs, all in a particularly elegant setting.

The only Japanese restaurant in the world under the auspices of Joël Robuchon, Yoshi (1 Michelin star) offers healthy, modern cuisine with signature Japanese offerings that is also carefully adapted to Western palate.

Throughout the year, Joël Robuchon imagined tasty Mediterranean cuisine for his guests, light and savoury dishes. A place which dresses and undresses depending on the season. A pool, terrace, gardens, pool-house: the various entwine their curves, the different elements melt into each other around the heated seawater pool, in a haute-couture setting imagined and designed by Karl Lagerfeld. From May to September, at diner,Odyssey hosts starred chefs to create on-site an ephemeral restaurant.  A popular address, appreciated by the Monegasques.

In a subdued atmosphere mixing prestigious vintages, velvet armchairs and marble statues, the Bar & Lobby of the Metropole welcomes you throughout the day and in the evening for a coffee, a pastry or a cocktail. A Joël Robuchon menu is also available in the lobby.
