The exclusive Château de la Messardière is Saint-Tropez’s largest hotel with its 117 rooms, featuring a Spa, gourmet restaurant and poolside restaurant, bars, an art gallery and magnificent 25-acre grounds.
Situated on a hillside, just a hop from Saint-Tropez’s centre and Pampelonne beaches, Château de la Messardière spans the Bay of Saint-Tropez, vineyards of Ramatuelle and the Med.
ACCOMMODATION
The Château offers a choice of five room categories, featuring different sizes and, especially, a variety of views from their window, terrace, or balcony. All rooms have comfortable bathrooms with whirlpool baths, separate showers and double sinks. All 57 suites and 60 rooms offer guests exhilarating vistas over the local scenery.
SMALL ROOM
Smaller rooms are situated in the adjacent wing and overlook the alley leading to the main building. Enjoy savouring breakfast on the balcony. Ideal for people travelling alone or short breaks.
CLASSIC ROOM
These recently-refurbished rooms, measuring 26 to 30 m², offer expansive views over the surrounding countryside and the hotel entrance below.
SUPERIOR ROOM
Slightly more spacious than the Classic room (30 m² approx.). Guests’ privilege to enjoy picturesque views over the countryside and vineyards of Ramatuelle from room terrace or balcony.
WEST INDIES ROOM
Set around the pool, these beautiful rooms with balconies, measuring around 32 m², offer views over the hotel gardens and vineyards of Saint-Tropez. “Back from the Islands” décor (wooden beams, stained wood furniture and wooden panelling) is an invitation to rest and relaxation.
PRESTIGE ROOM
Prestige splendid rooms, 40 m² rooms, offer magnificent views over the Bay of Pampelonne, along with a large, private terrace where guests can sunbathe in peace or revel in a romantic breakfast. Fitted with large bed and sofa.
DINING
Château de la Messardière offers a highly-flexible choice of gourmet or light meals, snacks, cocktails and gala dinners, plus delicious breakfasts and coffee breaks.
Chef Pierrick BERTHIER and his staff create tailored menus and cocktails and are also happy to offer advice on all aspects of catering for guest’s events and a menu with the Chateau’s 400-strong list of wines and champagnes.
GOURMET RESTAURANT “L’ACACIA”
Undoubtedly one of Saint-Tropez’s best addresses, “L’Acacia”, the perfect venue for a romantic dinner for two or with friends, “L’Acacia” serves refined and creative Mediterranean-style cuisine in a truly exceptional ambiance. The restaurant’s vast terrace offers sweeping views over the beaches of Pampelonne.
NEAR THE POOL
The « A Ciel Ouvert » restaurant serves light cuisine in a delightfully relaxed ambiance. The menu features a tempting selection of grilled fish and meats, salads, club sandwiches and dishes of the day accompanied – bien sûr -by a glass of elegant Provençal rosé wine, served by the Chateau’s sumptuous mirror pool overlooking the Bay of Saint-Tropez.
CHATEAU BAR & ITS TERRACE
An astonishing blend of stained-glass cathedral windows, antique furniture and English wood panels, coupled with a fireplace and lounge-library, the Chateau Bar was designed with elegance and cosiness in mind or enjoy the Bar Terrace’s comfortable armchairs and couches bordering the pool.
