Cap Rocat

Welcome to Cap Rocat, a former military fortress located in the most secluded area of the bay of Palma de Mallorca. Stunningly blended into the landscape, this magnificent fortress has been totally refurbished by Antonio Obrador without altering its unique architecture and its natural environment.

Cap Rocat was created from a former 19th century military fortress, set on an incredibly secluded headland on the Bay of Palma de Mallorca. Stunningly blended into the landscape, the magnificent fortress has been totally transformed, whilst retaining the integrity of its architecture and the natural environment

25 rooms and suites

These rooms, along the fortress exterior walls, offer guests the possibility to experience the originality of sleeping in former military quarters combined with the comfort and exclusive services of the hotel.

The former shooting pads and munitions stores, on the cliff’s edge and with a commanding view of the Bay of Palma, are now spectacular suites, each with a private patio and terraces.

In the most secluded position within the fortress, the “El Cabo” Suite offers a large living room furnished with one-off, original pieces of art, spacious gardens with private terraces and a private pool.

Tucked away in the hotel’s herb garden the ‘Suite del Mar’ has two private terraces and its own private plunge pool with exquisite views of the Bay of Palma. The subtle interiors and local fabrics marry with the exposed brick walls and beamed ceilings creating an elegant setting with a complete lack of ostentation.
