Palacio Tangara

With an exceptional location in the heart of the economic capital of Brazil – São Paulo – Palácio Tangará will open its doors in the second quarter 2017. Built in the surroundings of the highly regarded Burle Marx Park, whose gardens were designed by Roberto Burle Marx, the hotel offers 141 spacious guestrooms – including 59 suites – all with beautiful views overlooking the park.

Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten drives the hotel’s dining experiences and there will be a signature restaurant, chef’s table, a bar, a wine cellar, a lobby and lounge bar, all with outdoor terraces.

Additional facilities comprise 9 function rooms, including a ballroom for up to 530 guests with terraces overlooking the park. The fitness centre and spa have a private garden and there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as a kid’s club.

DELUXE ROOM
The Deluxe Room showcases an elegant décor with contemporary accents and materials inspired by nature. The entrance hall leads to a spacious room bathed in natural daylight, appointed with a dining table for two and a large writing desk; this is a beautifully designed space for work or relaxation. All of the rooms open to a balcony or a furnished terrace, some featuring wonderful views of the Burle Marx Park. There is a walk-in closet and a generously sized bathroom with twin vanity unit, separate glass shower and bathtub. At 47 square metres (506 square feet) deluxe room is the most spacious in the city in this category.

PRESTIGE ROOM
The Prestige Room showcases stylish décor with soft contemporary accents. The entrance hall leads to a supremely comfortable room bathed in natural daylight, appointed with a dining table for two and a large writing desk. All rooms open to a balcony, some with breath-taking views of the Burle Marx Park. There is a walk-in closet and a generously sized bathroom with twin vanity unit, separate glass shower and bathtub. Some Prestige Rooms with King size beds can be interconnected with twin double bed rooms.

PRESTIGE ROOM TERRACE
The Prestige Room Terrace showcases stylish décor with soft contemporary accents. The entrance hall leads to a supremely comfortable room bathed in natural daylight, appointed with a dining table for two and a large writing desk. All these rooms open to a terrace where guests can enjoy a cool drink and some are furnished for private dining. Some terraces also have breath-taking views of the Burle Marx Park. There is a walk-in closet and a generously sized bathroom with twin vanity unit, separate glass shower and bathtub.

DINING
Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who has led a stellar career in Michelin starred kitchens, owns and operates over 30 restaurants worldwide in cities such as New York and Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo. The partnership with Oetker Collection at Palácio Tangará will be his first venture in South America.

Jean-Georges will be taking care of all the food and beverage for the hotel including the room service and banquet facilities. The appointment of Jean-Georges follows a successful partnership between Oetker Collection and Jean-Georges at Eden Rock – St Barth.
